The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is teased to be arrested. She did not murder Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), as the undead Phyllis, Jeremy Stark (James Hyde), and the audience know.

Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) judgment was attacked by many since he embraced Diane’s supposed new life. Her return to the living and from California, led to a relatively quick reconciliation with their son, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

That influenced Jack’s perspective. But so did Phyllis’ erratic behavior.

Recent months saw Phyllis alienate everyone she cares for. That development eventually led her to team with Jeremy in a highly risky revenge plot that mimics what Diane did when supposedly killed by the rock Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) hit her with a rock.

Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) is driven by guilt. She was estranged from her mother during what she believes was the last weeks of her life in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

Kyle was already in a bad position when Summer accused his mother of being Phyllis’ killer. But Chance Chancellor’s (Connor Floyd) discovery of a poison bottle elevated Summer’s suspicions to seeming evidence.

Phyllis is proud of her daughter for taking a stand but also knows that a great reckoning is coming.

Y&R Spoilers – Jeremy Stark Pursues Revenge

Jeremy is trying to have his revenge. He was enraged when learning that Diane was the person who turned him in to the authorities for money laundering.

While Phyllis did not have proof, she told Jeremy Diane was responsible for his years-long incarceration. Jeremy’s early parole sent Diane into a tizzy. However, that helped her bond with Jack.

Hyde’s character wanted Phyllis out of GC as soon as possible because he was concerned, she was having second thoughts about their scheme to frame Diane for the faked murder.

Jack was furious when Diane revealed herself as alive in Los Angeles, California. Phyllis and Jack were still tight at that point in the plot.

But Bergman’s character soon shifted his loyalty from Phyllis to Diane. Phyllis believes Diane has manipulated Jack’s mind.

But Phyllis is unwilling to admit that Jack obviously retained a place in his heart for the mother of his youngest son. His mettle is being severely tested. But the eventual realization that Phyllis is playing games could increase Jack and Diane’s bond exponentially on Y&R.
