The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) was thrilled when Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) worked to create her release from prison. Home confinement is better than a cold jail cell, even if it includes Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) digs.

The placement of Diane and Tucker inside the Abbott mansion is a classic soapy scenario. Viewers foresaw that delicious dynamic coming the moment Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) asked her ex-husband to move into a guest room.

St. John’s mischievous character knows how to push Diane’s buttons. To her equal credit, Walters’ chemistry with the Tucker recast is consistently engaging.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Is Alive

It is easy to predict Diane’s imminent freedom. The same would not be true if Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) was actually killed by Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) or anyone except Diane.

Phyllis recently revealed her never-dead status to her embattled daughter, Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier). She told Lanier’s character that no one else should know she was not dead.

Summer told her brother, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), that Phyllis was alive and followed by providing him details about her having stabbed Jeremy to death in a self-defense act.

Daniel is not in the same head space as Summer, who was put in a terrible position by Phyllis. Daniel’s ability to see what must be done is clear.

Graziadei’s character tells Michael, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) that Phyllis is alive. He does so knowing Phyllis is not capable of thinking straight and needs their help.

Summer implored her brother to stop focusing on his conscience and to give Phyllis time to develop her teased plan to address all that happened. So, natural tension will exist between Summer and Daniel as a result.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Receives Needed Help

Kyle did not know what to do since his mother was charged with Phyllis’ murder. There was no way to stand by Diane while defending Summer’s comments about his mother’s guilt.

Believing Diane was innocent appeared to be genetically based. But Summer soon learned that Kyle’s instincts were right, and that Diane was not guilty.

Chaos will ensue as Phyllis needs to be located. That event should result in Diane’s quick exoneration. But family healing may not be as easy on Y&R.
