Y&R Spoilers: Diane Seeks Reprisal – Phyllis Feels The Heat

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) had her ankle bracelet removed. She is no longer under home confinement, an adaptation of her jail sentence.

Diane was falsely charged with causing the death of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). But Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) were determined to prove Diane’s innocence.

Genoa City Police Department Detective Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) chided Jack and Kyle for appointing themselves to Phyllis’ case. But their efforts led to results. Chance was compelled to follow up based on the red hair sample Jack provided.

Phyllis has been known as Red for many years. It is a fond nickname Jack applied to her during their first marriage.

But red also represents what many have seen when dealing with Phyllis through the years. Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) would be at the top of that list, even as her best friend. However, GC’s returned District Attorney, Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell), heads it.

Christine will go all-in to capture Phyllis and enforce full justice under the law of the land.

Y&R Spoilers – Diane Jenkins In The Catbird’s Seat

Diane has arguably never been in a better position, as compared to Phyllis, than she is at this point in the plot. Phyllis leaped from annoying to threatening to committing criminal acts against Diane.

Being imprisoned for crimes she did not commit would have been bad enough. But Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) cleverly mocked Diane’s faked death scenario and got Phyllis to buy into it. Then, Jeremy coerced Phyllis to lead the charge.

Of course, Jeremy lost the most because he is dead. Phyllis’ self-defense act added to her legal troubles, and Diane wants to milk all of them.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Not In Hiding For Long

Phyllis is telegraphing her recognition of reality by returning to the center of town. Checking into the GC Athletic Club made it incredibly more likely she would be arrested, and Phyllis knows that.

So, Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) hope their mother will realize some miracle and not face years in prison. Phyllis will soon come out of hiding or be forced out. When that happens, Diane’s thirst for reprisal will begin to be quenched on Y&R.
