Y&R Spoilers: Diane Riding High – Ashley Affected By Save

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) showed her true colors. Ashley Abbott McCall (Eileen Davidson) does not know what to make of that either.

Ashley defaulted into anti-Diane mode. She appeared at the table where the inspiration for Simply Ashley was having lunch with Abby Newman Abbott (Melissa Ordway).

Diane did not restrain herself. The ladies got into it, with Abby wanting peace in her restaurant, Society. Then, Ordway’s character left which set up momentary drama.

Ashley told her revived husband that she popped a grape into her mouth for effect. But the sarcastic joke was on Ashley, rather than Diane.

The verbal jousting the ladies were engaged in before Abby left the restaurant to pick up Dominic Newman Abbott Winters Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) and meet Devon Hamilton Winters (Bryton James) in Chancellor Park was nothing extraordinary.

However, Ashley has moved out of her family’s mansion and does not want to see Diane. Doing so set her off.

Y&R Spoilers – Diane Jenkins Did Not Do The Heimlich Maneuver?

Soap purposely explores various larger topics but will also throw in targeted dialogue tidbits that are intended to present a point of view. Such was the case when Tucker asked Ashley if Diane performed the Heimlich maneuver on her.

Ashley let Tucker know that Diane saved her life. But dialogue also casts doubt on whether what Diane did should be referred to as the Heimlich maneuver.

Daytime fans could question why they needed to know that distinction or whether what was provided helped expand their awareness of life-threatening situations and proper responses.

Viewers can review available information about whether the use of back blows before an abdominal thrust is wise.

As for what happened in GC, Diane’s response caused Ashley to eject the grape toward a waiter and she was able to breathe again.

Tucker has implored Ashley to stop wasting energy by fighting with Diane. He also does not want his now-wife to continue focusing on Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) life or whatever the Abbott’s do while they are running Jabot along with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

Ashley appears to want to begin building Simply Ashley, find a house to live in with Tucker and move forward.

She can do all of that because Diane dislodged that grape from her throat, with Ashley and Tucker still unable to digest Walters’ character on Y&R.
