The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal Diane finally caving and telling Phyllis exactly what she thinks of her and exactly what she wants to do to her.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers -Diane Jenkins Walks Into A Trap
Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has been walking a fine line for the last year, ever since she decided to reveal that she is still alive and had been living in California for nearly a decade. After initial fury from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), he started to fall for her again and now they are even engaged. Through it all, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has been trying to prove that Diane wasn’t on the up and up, which ruined her own burgeoning relationship with Jack.
Now, it’s become an obsession for Phyllis as she’s partnered with the very dangerous Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). She thinks she knows what he has in store for Diane, but she doesn’t realize how perilous the situation she has gotten herself into really is. She just knows she has to lure Diane to a room at The Athletic Club and take it from there.
Y&R Spoilers – A Memorial For Epiphany
Phyllis tricks Diane into this room by saying Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is sick, but Diane quickly realizes this was a horrible trick and her patience is just about up. Phyllis has been torturing and tormenting her for a year while Diane has tried to put on the good girl act. Well, Diane has had enough and she and Phyllis lash out at each other like never before.
In fact, this confrontation turns into a good old-fashioned catfight that is all we want to see in Genoa City as Y&R celebrates 50 years on the air. When Diane has Phyllis on the floor and is leaning right over her, she tells her she wishes she could just strangle her to death at the moment.
Of course, this is also the moment when Jack, Kyle, and Summer Newman Abbott (Alison Lanier) walk in the room and both women are going to have a lot of explaining to do, especially Diane, who did just threaten to murder Phyllis — even if she didn’t completely mean it. Uh-oh. Stay tuned to The Young and the Restless weekdays to see how these stories play out.
