The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is attempting to clean up the mess that followed her from Los Angeles, California. Diane wants Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) to believe she wants back in.

Hyde’s character is super savvy, but as his arrested demonstrated, he can be defeated. Diane ended his money laundering run by reporting him to the authorities when she called herself Taylor Jensen.

Apparent immunity allows her to roam free in Genoa City, Wisconsin, where collateral damage includes Summer Newman Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) relationship with her mother.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Was Wronged

All the heat has shifted to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) since Diane was able to reclaim part of Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) mind. He has been deeply influenced by Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) blind loyalty to his resurrected mother and Harrison Locke’s (Kellen Enriquez) innocent bond with his grandmother, who he fondly calls Didi.

Phyllis flew to be with Jack in Los Angeles, California. She stood by him when Diane revealed the scheme Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) enabled.

While Jack and Phyllis were in sync at that point in the plot, they no longer are. Jack resents Phyllis, who regrets luring Jeremy to GC.

Diane was never able to marry Jack. Phyllis arguably prevented him from making what might have been one of the great romantic mistakes of his life.

A recent New Year’s Eve kiss, approximately at the stroke of soapy midnight, was a watershed moment. How far Jack allows his heart to go is yet to be determined.

Diane is about Diane. Believing that she can vanquish Jeremy in LA was realistic because she had specific knowledge of his crimes and was motivated to bring him down.

But beating Jeremy twice will be far harder because unlike last time, he is suspicious of her motives and could instantly reverse her fortunes. Jeremy will want more than Jack’s million dollars if or likely when he confirms that Diane is out to get him again.

Kyle continues to back his mother despite the stress of doing so creates for Summer. He believes his mom is invincible. But can Diane eliminate Jeremy twice on Y&R?
