The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Devon Hamilton Winters (Bryton James) made peace with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) because both siblings realized their family ties were most important. But Devon does not feel the same way about Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).

The festivities Devon and Lily held for their late father, who was not the biological father of either person, set the stage. Tucker believed Devon would want his biological mother, Harmony Hamilton (Chene Lawson), there. His feeling proved out and Devon was deeply touched by the gesture.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Neil Winters Retained Bond With Lily Winters

Lily did not know Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) was her father until her teenage years. Her late mother, Drucilla Winters (Victoria Rowell), did not know it either because Malcolm never told her.

In one of the more memorable sequences Khalil’s character faced during the ongoing arc of her character’s life, Malcolm told Dru that he cavorted with her after she took heavy medication during a period of illness. Dru was shocked and devastated.

Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) was apoplectic after having had trouble with his brother in other areas of their lives. Lily was shaken, but she never stopped thinking of Neil as her father and came to accept Malcolm’s enhanced role in her life.

Y&R Spoilers – Devon Hamilton Winters Made A Recent Choice

Devon has used the last name Hamilton since birth. But he recently added Winters to his name to honor Neil’s legacy.

Harmony was fine with her son’s decision. Of course, Devon is also keeping the Hamilton name because of his feelings for her.

Everyone noticed that Devon did not include McCall as part of his new signature. Tucker noticed but kept his feelings in check because he believes reconciliation efforts are moving ahead.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Tucker McCall Deserves Earned Respect

Devon recently told Abby Newman Abbott (Melissa Ordway), who recently dropped Chancellor from her name after leaving Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd), that he remains uncertain about Tucker’s motives.

Abby recently praised Tucker’s sincerity regarding wanting to bond with Devon and Dominic Newman Abbott Winters Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware). But she remains opposed to Tucker reconciling with her mother, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).

Devon promised Abby that he would explore Tucker’s current state of mind to determine if he is using Ashley as part of a business ploy.

If Devon determines that is not happening, he will hopefully give his biological father the respect he has earned. Neil and Dru are looking down from heaven and would likely agree as long as Tucker continues to be honest with Devon on Y&R.
