Y&R Spoilers: Devon Scams Tucker, Apple Doesn’t Fall Far From The Tree?

The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree when Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) scams Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) bought out Tucker’s debt but she’ll talk him into selling McCall Unlimited to Devon, who in turn will use it as a bargaining chip for Hamilton-Winters.

Devon’s real desire is to get Hamilton-Winters back from Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and he’s currently waging war with his sister. Tucker’s desire is to put his and Devon’s past dysfunction in the past and work alongside each other, so when Ashley urges Tucker to sell to his son, he’s in. However, Devon could easily buy his dad’s company and out-Tucker Tucker if he can convince Jill and Lily to trade the conglomerate for Hamilton-Winters.

Devon would feel quite justified in this backstabbing move, if successful, after how Tucker has misbehaved in the past. Or, at least Devon will try-Jill and Lily may not be interested.

Y & R Spoilers – Who Wants To Take On A Sinking Ship?

Jill and Lily no doubt have heard about the financial problems Tucker has been facing and how an anonymous buyer bought out his debt, beating Newman Enterprises out. Devon is gearing up for a lawsuit and a court battle with Lily and Jill for the legacy the man he thinks of as father, Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) left him. This is quite brazen, considering Neil was Lily’s birth father whereas Tucker is Devon’s birth father, but Devon might think McCall Unlimited is a fair trade. There has been a lot of upheaval at Chancellor-Winters lately, what with the IPO and merger being locked in and several key players leaving including Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Not to mention taking on buying the debt along with taking on the floundering company-which would pay Ashley back but profit Jill and Lily nothing.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Backstabbing Not So Fun

On the other hand, Devon may decide that backstabbing isn’t so fun and he’s already all but lost his family relationship with Lily over this battle. He might decide to give Tucker what he wants and give him a chance to prove himself to his son, and team up with him. Traditionally, family has always meant a lot to Devon and it was Tucker who gave him the gift of hearing – financing his cochlear implants.

Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) may even give Tucker a pass and let him spend time with his grandson, considering her mother was the one who bought out Tucker’s debt. She was finally starting to see some good in him until Devon turned his back on Tucker and gave him the boot.
