Y&R Spoilers: Devon Follows Tucker’s Lead, He Wants Out

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) realized the truth and shared that with Jill Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton). James’ character told his current business partner that his cousin was right and, without saying his name, also followed his biological father’s advice.

Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) insight proved accurate. He believed Devon’s refusal to accept any of Nate’s ideas, while employed by Chancellor-Winters, was connected to hero worship of the late Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John).

Devon shared that part of his enlightenment with Jill when telling her that he wanted to buy back his part of the merged Chancellor-Winters’ corporation. But Devon did not say he was following Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) business tip.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nate Hastings Wrong, But Also Right

Nate was wrong to cavort with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) at the New Hope Clinic. Elena was equally wrong when betraying Devon’s trust.

But Devon’s cousin was right when he told him the basis of his stubbornness. Devoted viewers recall that Nate could not make any progress while he was working under Devon and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) at CW.

Lily was open to some of Nate’s ideas. But Devon shot Nate’s ideas down, claiming some flaw in each of them. Nate’s conspiratorial plan to take control of the company was eventually admitted due to the pressure Elena applied, and Devon was outraged.

Devon sloughed off Nate’s assertion that he was dismissive due to emotional ties to Neil. But months later, Devon realizes Nate was right.

Y&R Spoilers – Tucker McCall Does Have Different Interests In Mind

Tucker actually means well while not realizing his methods are manipulative. He intended to reconnect with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Devon when returning to Genoa City, Wisconsin.

Tucker’s linked intentions to take over Jabot and Chancellor-Winters were suspected by his ex-wife and son. But he repeatedly denied their suspicions. Devon’s outing of Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and Ashley’s find of the Jabot files revealed St. John’s character as dishonest.

However, Tucker never executed a hostile takeover of Jabot or CW, with the admission that neither deal may have been ripe.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – What Happens To Chancellor-Winters?

Devon wants out of the merger. He intends to use some of his financial assets to buy back part of the CW. But Jill is opposed to that plan, and Lily is as well.

Khalil’s character offers an alternative option which Devon will have to consider. He told Jill he will go public against the merger if his offer is rejected on Y&R.
