Nate’s insightful tell was instantly dismissed at the time. Lily asked her brother if he thought Nate might be right. Devon was bothered by her assertion, but his heart wanted Hamilton-Winters back.

A predictor of illness can be handling too many life events at one time. A hard break with a loved one, Amanda, coupling with Abby, cutting his biological father, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), off, and wanting to break the merger with Chancellor Industries is overwhelming.

Devon needs to slow down. If he does not, the burgeoning relationship with Abby could become needlessly dysfunctional. He also needs to remain distant from Tucker but begin talking with him again in the future because the man is his father.

As for business, Lily has a good business sense and cares about her family. Before breaking the merger, Devon hopefully considers Lily’s teased solution.

Like Devon, Lily could use advice from her father. She could use her mother’s presence as well. But Neil and Drucilla Winters (Victoria Rowell) are in heaven.

But the influence of departed loved ones can be accessed when recalling how they handled problems. Implementing past advice and seeking to pursue outcomes they would likely approve of can help Lily now.

She needs to aid Devon during his time of confusion and change. Lily must also come to terms with what appears to be the end of her relationship with Billy, who she loves but can not stay with on Y&R.
