Y&R Spoilers: Danny Romalotti’s Retro Love Triangle Revival

Y&R spoilers note that Danny Romalloti will return to Genoa City in September. In fact, CBS soap not only announced that actor Michael Damian would be making a comeback, but his run will be an “extended” one, this time around.

Fans need to set their PVRs for Thursday, September 28th, as Danny will re-enter the little town on that date.

Y&R spoilers have hinted that Danny could share a romantic reunion with the town’s district attorney, Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell).

Since coming back to the show for sporadic appearances, once during last year’s holiday season, and once during the bicentennial gala this past March, the soap has been teasing “something” between him and Cricket.

Still, during Christmas last year, Christine was still with Paul Williams (Doug Davidson). Now that her marriage is over, could something brew between them?

Romalotti first entered Genoa City in 1981 and shared romances with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk), and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman); however, it was his super couple status with Christine that put them both on the map.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) stormed into the picture, circa 1994, as an obsessed fan with the rockstar and blew their relationship apart.

While they attempted to get back together, here and there, things were never the same after that.

Mainly because Paul Williams also had a great love affair with Cricket, but now that he’s out of the equation, will the timing be right for Christine and Danny?

Y&R Spoilers – Red Is Still Around

Paul may be in Portugal, but Red is a free woman in Genoa City. Back during the holiday season, the show seemed to hint that Christine was a tad jealous that Danny was back in town and spending time with Phyllis and “their son” Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei).

Is the show gearing up for a love triangle revival?

If social media can provide any hints, it looks that way. Of course, CBS provided the update on Danny’s return, Michael Damian also posted about his extended stay in Genoa City, but so did Lauralee and Michelle.
