Y&R Spoilers: Daniel & Phyllis’s Reunion Interrupted By Someone Surprising

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of May 29th state that Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will finally come face-to-face with mom Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) for the first time since her “fake death” debacle. Unfortunately, it’ll be cut short when someone unexpectedly shows up.

Y&R spoilers hint that Daniel will get a cryptic and anonymous text message to meet at a GCAC hotel room.

Meanwhile, Summer Newman Abbott (Alison Lanier) will also be off on another odd “errand” when Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) tries to connect with her.

Griffin tells SOD that Kyle will still believe that Summer has unresolved conflict over his mom Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) being charged with her mom’s murder; even though the reality of it all is that his wife is withholding some major information that can exonerate her.

Ms. Newman Abbott arrives at the GCAC hotel room, only to realize it’s her mother’s new hideout. She reiterates to Phyllis that Daniel should not know where she is, without really telling her where her brother stands on this situation.

Summer wants to protect her mother, and likely Phyllis’s feelings, on the fact that Daniel believes Red should come clean.

Griffith reveals that Summer believes Daniel is naïve in thinking that Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) won’t throw the book at Phyllis once she returns to town. When Summer realizes that her mom has reached out to Daniel, she begins to scramble.

Y&R Spoilers – Surprise, Surprise, Another Person Arrives

While Summer is furious when there’s a knock at the door, and realizes it’s Daniel, Phyllis and her son will have a very emotional reunion.

Griffith states that the two fall into each other’s arms and Ms. Summers will give her son “a pass” for telling ‘everyone” she’s alive.

Josh tells SOD that she realizes that Daniel did her dirty for all the right reasons. Plus, she has massive guilt around pulling the “fake death” stunt in the first place.

According to Griffith, Daniel will rush to try and convince his mom to do the right thing. However, the trio is interrupted by someone else who barges through the door … none other than Kyle.

Griffith ends the interview by stating that Kyle now knowing (undeniably) that Phyllis is alive will place both mother and daughter in a dangerous position.
