It was great that Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) brought Lucy to GC. Phyllis flew to Portugal as part of a storyline that allowed Bloom to reprise her role and provided devoted viewers with a much-needed update about Heather’s legendary father, Paul Williams (Doug Davidson).

Longtime fans see that Bloom’s character was used as a plot vehicle to introduce the Lucy recast. Hopefully, O’Briant will be a regular part of the show as Daniel’s story unfolds.

An intriguing element is reopened in having Lucy return. While Heather was helping Daniel to raise her, she is not her mother. Daisy Carter Romalotti (Yvonne Zima) gave birth to Lucy but has not been seen in many years. The character Zima once played would have a reason to return if her daughter remains in GC.

Y&R Spoilers – Lily Winters Resetting Her Life

Lily divorced Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) in the recent past. She spoke about that break and their twins leading their young adult lives, which means Lily is alone.

The dedication of the Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) Jazz Club also allowed Lily and her brother, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), to reminisce about him and their mother, Drucilla Winters (Victoria Rowell). It was right to honor those great actors and the characters they played during this soap opera’s heyday.

The break from Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) was not ugly. Instead, it was rather sad. Lily recognized they were in trouble before Billy did, and they had an amicable split.

Phyllis is not dead. Soon, all of Genoa City and Daniel will know it.
