The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Daniel and Summer both reeling from the fact that they believe their mother is dead and each one has another person to blame, but is it all connected?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Where To Lay The Phyllis ‘Death’ Blame

Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Summer Newman Abbott (Alison Lanier) still can’t believe that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is dead, but they feel they have no choice because all the evidence points towards Phyllis not surviving that ambulance fire.

They are beside themselves and have to place the blame somewhere. So, Daniel directs his anger towards Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) and Summer directs hers towards Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

“They are both pretty devastated,” Michael Graziadei said in the April 17, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “They’re really struggling to cope. Nothing is making sense to them.”

They are also extremely grief-stricken, especially with how the siblings treated Phyllis during what they think were her last days on Earth.

“I think that’s the traditional tale of you always think you have more time with someone, when you should really act like every day is your ast and to treat people the way uou want to be treated. Of course, they learned this lesson too late.”

Y&R Spoilers – A Misplaced Revenge Scheme

The audience knows that Phyllis is very much alive and doing exactly what she accused Diane of — faking her own death and leaving her children absolutely heartbroken. But these children are adults now and want revenge.

The Young and the Restless spoilers show Daniel just wants to start with Jeremy and see if he and Phyllis really did marry as he claims while Summer wants to lay all her fury at Diane’s feet. But what if they are both to blame? Could Jeremy and Diane be working together on a long con or could what both of them did to Phyllis separately make her go over the edge and agree to Jeremy’s scheme?

Then again, maybe they will soon learn this is all on their mother who made a choice to fake her own death out of her own petty jealousy. Phyllis might then decide she is better off staying dead. Stay tuned to The Young and the Restless weekdays to see how this story plays out.
