Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that there could be some awkwardness on the horizon as Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) head out on their first date. Chance recently asked Sharon out, and she accepted, much to the delight of many fans out there.

Both these characters have suffered their own respective heartache and deserve a little fun. But could some awkwardness on their first night out leave a bad taste in everyone’s mouth?

Y&R spoilers hint that Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) may head out for a night of celebration of their own soon, too. After all, she and Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) are officially moving into the penthouse.

Then again, Abby and Devon may carve out a night on the town for some “alone” time without Dom; it’s important for parents to keep the romance alive.

Could Abby and Devon head out for a date night on the very same night that Chance and Sharon decide to go out on their first date? Society seems to be the place where “everyone” goes these days. There’s a good chance both couples end up in the same place, at the same time.

Y&R Spoilers – They Could “Fluff” Off The Awkwardness Unless Jealousy Strikes Someone …

Sure, running into your ex with the very man she cheated on to end your marriage is awkward enough. But Chance is used to seeing Dabby together, so he’ll fluff it off. Devon might be happy to learn that Mr. Chancellor is moving on, and he’ll likely also be pleased to see that Sharon is diving into the dating game again.

She’s mourned the loss of her husband for quite a while and it’s time for her to start living again. Sharon will likely be a little uncomfortable if the two run into Dabby, but she’ll hide it with small talk and move on.

With that said, will Abby be okay with seeing Chance and Sharon together? She’s always been the jealous type, and it could rub her the wrong way. Could she glare at the new couple, enjoying their first night out together? Will Devon take notice of the tinge of jealousy she’ll feel?
