Life has provided Lily with plenty of opportunities. She has made the most of them, while also dealing with plenty of hardship in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

The loss of her mother, Drucilla Winters (Victoria Rowell), and Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John), who is not her biological father but was her dad in every sense of the word, was crushing. So, dealing with the end of Lily’s pairing with Billy is hardly comparable and is something she is handling.

Thompson’s character was in love with Lily. But Billy was compelled to agree after she realized they would not survive.

Y&R Spoilers – Daniel Romalotti Is On His Own

Daniel created Omega Sphere in response to the difficulties he was enduring. Relationships he had with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and his daughter, Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant), were damaged by his inability to deal with career setbacks.

This trio’s move to Portugal caused Heather and Lily becoming alienated from Daniel. He felt the need to leave that country and return to his hometown.

While Heather and Lucy’s recent visit helped Daniel to resolve issues with his daughter, he learned heart-breaking news as well. Heather told Daniel she met and fell in love with a guy from work. So, Daniel, like Lily and Chelsea, is single.

Chelsea may be moving into a romantic relationship with Billy. But that duo has not fully invested in each other.

Lily experienced Chelsea putting herself in Billy’s regular proximity. That helped propel the end of Lily and Billy’s time together. But it is reasonable to believe they would have split even if Chelsea did not kiss Billy and made her feelings known about him.

Daniel is in a vulnerable place. He and Lily almost kissed in Chancellor Park before pulling back.

If he does not pursue Lily in the short term, Chelsea could become a romantic option. That potential could motivate Lily to make a move on Y&R.
