Y&R Spoilers: Billy’s Shocking Choice – Sides With Jack Or Ashley?

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease there’s lots of family drama when Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) needs to make a choice. Even though he and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) have been staging big arguments to convince Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) they’re not getting along, Billy’s truly torn-who will he side with?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Stuck In The Middle With Two

Although Billy has been playing along with the staged blowups between himself and Jack for Ashley’s benefit, from his perspective, it’s like being stuck in the middle with two!

They’ve been staging these maneuvers so that Billy could get closer to Ashley and spy on her and report back to Jack, since she’s been trying to stage a coup.

Billy is coming to terms with who he is and where he fits in the family, as well as where he doesn’t; but he does want to preserve his father’s legacy.

Billy wants to make sure that Jabot continues, and in the best light possible-optics are important. But Billy also finds himself a bit torn, because he really doesn’t want to betray Ashley.

Y & R Spoilers – Learn From The Past, Don’t Repeat It

According to Y&R spoilers, Jack has gotten the company through some pretty bad times in the past, and Billy doesn’t doubt he can do it again-but he doesn’t want Ashley to repeat past behavior.

There were times when Ashley ran off with all her patents and left Jabot high and dry, and now she and Jack seem locked in a downward spiral and plummeting fast.

Billy does love his sister in spite of her foibles and he was hoping that giving both sides a chance to relax would turn down the volume, so to speak. Now Billy is in a position where he has to figure out who he can really trust, Jack or Ashley.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – “Unexpected” Meeting

Billy arranges to “unexpectedly” run into Ashley and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) at the Genoa City Athletic Club and he asks Ashley if she’s really leaving Jabot.

She says she is and she wants him to leave to, citing that Jack has lost all objectivity where Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) who he just married is concerned.

Ashley figures Diane will be going for Billy’s job, so she and Jack can rule Jabot like its king and queen.

Billy has to wonder if there even is a way to save Jabot from any further upheaval, and Ashley gives him some familiar advice.

She wants him to lie to the others and “infiltrate” Ashley and Tucker, in other words come to their side-both sides using him as a pawn.
