Y&R Spoilers: Billy Rocks Jabot – Tucker Exploits Phyllis’ Desperation

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) went behind his brother’s back more than once in recent weeks. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) explicitly told his brother what he wanted and Billy defied him again.

Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) has identified Billy as Jabot’s vulnerability. He intends to use Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to obtain financial dirt on Billy that will be used to target Jabot.

Jack did not think it was a good idea to come between Devon Hamilton Winters (Bryton James) and his biological father. But Billy dismissed the apt comparison.

When Billy gets an idea in his mind he puts on blinders. Thompson’s character believes that if they can split Devon from Tucker, then St. John’s character will be more likely to leave town.

However, Devon found Billy’s approach to be devious. His request to talk to Devon at Society and reference to the honeymoon fight felt like Billy was using the situation to manipulate James’ character. That is what he intended, despite his modest denial.

Y&R Spoilers – Chelsea Lawson’s Absence Allows Roaming

Billy needs to be kept under control. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) appeared to be a good fit for him because she was a calming presence.

The split from Lily was amicable and led to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). But she recently left town with her son, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), for a likely extended period.

So, Billy does not have his mother, Jill Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton), looking over his shoulder, and he does not have a wife, significant other, or girlfriend to keep him in check.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers Needs The Money

Tucker referenced a purposely revisited portion of the script. He told Phyllis that he knew she owed the insurance company a lot of money due to Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) having claimed it after her faked death.

Plus, Tucker knew Phyllis lost a good deal of her wealth because Jeremy stole it from her. Viewers wondered why Tucker needed Phyllis’ hacking skills if he was able to obtain so much personal information about her.

But since Phyllis was found out and she is desperate, Tucker had an advantage. Her choice to agree to his deal in exchange for a half-down, half-later payment schedule puts her back on the wrong side of the law and tied to another devious mind on Y&R.
