The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) remarries Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). This wedding, like Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins Abbott’s (Susan Walters), was long derided but becomes a reality.

Ashley’s coyness about remarrying Tucker caused him to doubt her intentions. But he believed he knew her heart when she prevented him from leaving Genoa City, Wisconsin.

While the nuptials were being planned for a Chancellor mansion wedding, Jack and Diane were scheming to block their rival couple.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Recruiting Billy Abbott For Duty

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) was out of Jabot for years. His quixotic persona and inability to focus, which included his admission of not being able to do so, made Jack’s offer unexpected.

But Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) was not a good fit at Jabot and chose to leave co-Chief Executive Officer’s job after a short stay.

Without him and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) not being an option, Jack told Billy he was always welcome back and received an unexpected answer.

Thompson’s character felt it was time to return to the family business and did so just as high drama transpired.

Y&R Spoilers – Tucker McCall Does Not Trust In-Laws

Tucker’s realized remarriage to Ashley fulfills one of two goals he had when coming home. He came to deeply regret having wronged Ashley by cheating on her with Diane years ago and sought to make things right.

St. John’s character has also made great progress in restoring a relationship with his son, Devon Hamilton Winters (Bryton James). His agreement to become Tucker’s best man warmed his heart.

But Tucker has no love or trust for his now-in-laws, Jack and Diane. The plan to have Simply Ashley take over Jabot is in motion, with Billy’s assumed help.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jack Abbott Has The Upper Hand

Billy finds himself between a soapy rock and a hard place. He is working undercover for Jack and Diane but has also been offered the same cloaked opportunity by Ashley and Tucker.

The McCalls offered Billy the opportunity to run Jabot under their direction if the assumed Simply Ashley hostile takeover happens.

So, as long as Billy is fully transparent and his older brother does not enrage him during this delicate period, Jack should retain the upper hand.

But viewers see Billy’s options. He could betray Jack and Diane by backing Ashley and Tucker on Y&R.
