Diane, like the word drama, starts with the letter d. Walters’ character can not avoid being in the midst of multiple messes.

Jack told Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) he would not pursue a relationship with her because of his history with drama queens. So, he affirmed that he was and likely remains one of GC’s biggest drama kings.

Bergman’s character has settled into later middle-age. But the bad boy he once was, in being one of this famous town’s most notorious bachelors, is drawn to Diane’s penchant for chaos. Yes, Jack is drawn to Diane’s trouble-seeking nature.

Tucker learned that Diane was alive and living in LA in the recent past. He exploited that intel without alerting the woman (Ashley) he claims to love so deeply.

Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) continued link to Diane makes her a threat to the Abbott family’s stability, though she is attempting to stop Hyde’s character.

Comparisons are subjective, with Ashley and Jack unable to convince outside observers that Tucker or Diane is a worse influence than the other. Viewers can see a path for both returned characters to remain part of Ashley and Jack’s lives indefinitely which will further sibling rivalry on Y&R.
