Y&R Spoilers: Adam’s Admission Offers Hope – Victor’s Cause Is Just

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) surprising talk with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) could offer hope for the near future. While Adam and his father may never see eye to eye, Adam’s admission about Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) intentions was revealing.

Adam told Chelsea that he recognizes his involvement in devious matters and desire to conflict with others is lacking at Jabot. That could contribute to his lack of interest in the plumb executive job Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) gifted him.

However, Chelsea believes Adam realizes his father’s intention of wanting him back at Newman Enterprises is a shared goal.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kyle Abbott Created This Scenario

A somewhat convoluted plot line led to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (then played by Hunter King) leaving town last year. That happened because Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) created a scenario that provided Summer with a job at Marchetti.

Behind the scenes, TPTB crafted a storyline that allowed Kyle, Summer, and Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) to exit the show. King was winding down her latest stint as she voluntarily moved on with her career after a long overall run that included Daytime Emmy awards.

Kyle’s role at Jabot shifted from being an executive to telling his father to consider purchasing Marchetti, which Jack did. Mealor’s character, who was elevated to the co-Chief Executive Officer spot, opted to take the lead with Jabot’s newest acquisition. That left an opening that Jack offered to Adam.

Y&R Spoilers – Victor Newman Wants Younger Son Back Too

Victor gave up on Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) working for the family business years ago. Nick got tired of wearing the corporate costume, deciding first to operate The Underground and recent years, to co-founding New Hope.

But Nick decided last year that he achieved a certain level of maturity. Talks with family members, including Victor, led to Nick’s decision to voluntarily return to Newman Enterprises.

Victor is taking a different approach to Adam. Braeden’s character knows Adam’s motivations are different than Nick’s. The Moustache felt the need to prod Adam away from Jabot.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – If Adam Newman Does Return

Chelsea offered the fans a glimpse of a believable future. Adam could return to the company his father founded and in a prime role.

Victor recently told Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that he appreciated her thoughts about not manipulating Adam’s comeback. But the audience can assume Victor will follow what Chelsea suggested to Adam, meaning a new role with teeth.

Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) would balk at a power-share. But Victor’s creative mind and ability to adapt to his children’s personalities indicate something worth Adam’s time is soon to arrive on Y&R.
