After Chancellor-Winters’s IPO fails and Devon Hamilton wants to buy back his company, CW cannot afford to bankroll Daniel’s project. It forces Daniel’s project to lose funding.

Daniel has a lot riding on this project. He wants to show Heather Stevens (Jennifer Landon) that he’s working on himself. Without this project, he doesn’t think he can convince his family to give him another chance.

As luck would have it, Victor will decide to acquire Daniel’s project for Newman and uses it to bring Adam into the family fold.

Adam has blocked all of Victor’s attempts to lure him back to Newman. However, Victor believes that the gaming platform would be something Adam would enjoy, so he pitches it to his son.
