Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) has a tense conversation with Victoria. She expresses concern about Nate’s role in the company. She also points out that Audra may not have the experience to defeat Adam in a battle for Newman Media.

Victor meets with Audra to advise her on proceeding with Adam on the warpath. He wants to ensure she is aware of the threat. Audra informs Victor that she’s not worried about Adam. She’s confident that her skills as the acting CEO will block any takeover attempt Adam throws at them.

Adam warns Audra that she’s making a grave mistake by underestimating him. He believes he can outsmart her. It is a bonus that a hostile takeover would knock Victoria off her high horse.
