The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) reversed himself. After dismissing Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) revised business proposal, Adam accepted it because of Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) involvement and Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) advice.

Adam is not going to let the man who appears to be Sharon’s new love interest badmouth him. He wants to prevent Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) from coloring Sharon’s opinion about Adustus.

Chance wanted to make a statement to Adam and did so. But Adam is not one to offer respect, especially when one of his former loves is involved.

The name Adam chose for the re-branded McCall Industries is purposeful. It translates to scorched earth. Since this company is based in Genoa City, Wisconsin, the subject header in this section was applied.

Adam sloughed off Chance’s comments about the intent of Adustus’ name. But viewers and Sharon know he asked her to hire him to head Kirsten Incorporated so they could jointly defeat Newman Media. Sharon said no and countered with the merger proposal Victor quickly accepted.

While Chance’s comments about Adam hoping to eventually weaponize Audustus against Victor are premature. Plus, Nick and Sharon are in place to keep Adam in check.

Y&R Spoilers – Sharon Rosales Watches New Guy Attack

Sharon sat with a frozen look on her face while Chance verbally jousted with Adam. Viewers recall that both characters were friends in the relatively recent past.

Chance (then played by Donny Boaz) stepped in front of a bullet aimed at Adam. But that was three years ago in real-time, and this friendship ended long ago.

Case’s character is attracted to Chance for many reasons. She has expressed to Adam and Nick that protecting her is not required. So, it will be interesting to see how she responds over time if Chance continues bickering with Adam.

Sharon now has three guys hovering around her, with Nick likely not being a problem as long as he remains romantically tied to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

The friendship with Chance just turned into romance. She can likely manage whatever friction persists between him and Adam.

But Adam has a demonstrated pattern of not being able to control himself in so many areas of life. So, Sharon, Nick, and Victor’s hope of Adam being contained within this new business venture will be put to the test on Y&R.
