If Adam is telling the truth, then seeking Sharon’s help is smart. He asked her if she would relay the redemption message to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and that happened.

Nick has compassion for Adam because of their connection to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and the baby, Ava Hope, whom they recently lost. But Nick also is a seasoned target of Adam’s schemes.

Wanting to make amends with Sharon and Nick makes sense because Adam knows he upended what could have been a nice collaboration at Newman Enterprises.

Plus, he knows that they appreciate his recent loss and Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) departure.

Y&R Spoilers – Connor Newman Citation Is Telling

Adam does not use his children. Proof of that is his allowing Nick to serve as the only father Christian Newman (Alex Wilson) knows.

Grossman’s character could have pursued legal angles that might have resulted in Adam at least gaining visitation rights.

He decided that Christian’s place is with Nick, even though the late Sage Newman (Kelly Sullivan) had him through Adam.

Citing Connor’s recognition of his anxiety problems and the resolution he sought, by identifying a school where Anita Lawson (Catherine Bach) lives, was meaningful. Adam told Sally that Connor served as the role model he should follow.

Sally believes what Adam is saying and, like Sharon, is willing to give him some leeway to determine if he genuinely wants to restore ties with his family.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Understands Toughness

Victor’s greatest hope, in his senior years, is family unity. Devoted fans know that Victor in his prime was all about indulging in self-promotion and business building.

But time has created a more philosophical outlook. Victor has even held a truce with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) in recent years, which would have never been possible in daytime days gone by.

Adam must prove to Victor that he is sincere. That will take time and likely, various tests that Victor will use to gauge whether the son he had with Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman), is willing to demonstrate that family is everything and that he can be trusted at Newman Enterprises on Y&R.
