Y&R Spoilers: Adam Forces Reunion – Sally Fears The Sequel

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) was ambushed by his brother in Chancellor Park. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) was furious because he realized Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) had unresolved feelings.

Sally’s reflection was interesting. She told her best friend, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), that she was madly in love with two boys when she was in school and could not pick between them.

Sally has repeated history. But the stakes in modern-day Genoa City, Wisconsin, are nowhere near to those she faced when she was living the carnival life, as crossover fans of The Bold and the Beautiful were aware of.

Hope became the latest in a series of actors who successfully took her character from one sister soap opera to the other. Kimberlin Brown (Sheila Carter) was the first to cross from one show to the other when she went from The Young and the Restless to B&B in 1992.

Sally needed to leave Los Angeles, California, because she became obsessed with Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) who was in love with Flo Logan (Katrina Bowden) during that time in the plot. Hope’s character has found love in GC but as noted, her dilemma involves two guys and this time they are brothers.

Y&R Spoilers – Nick Newman Tried To Go Slowly

Nick knew that Sally had resonate feelings for Adam when they first became involved. Morrow’s character gave her an out at the start, but she insisted that Adam was not good for her.

Sally’s desire to move on with Nick happened because he embodies many traits Adam does not. Over time Nick realized that he was a lesser version of Mr. Right in Sally’s mind.

However, Sally’s conversation with Chloe winked at what was soon to some.

As a soapy aside, Chloe’s main best friend is Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). But the cast on any daytime drama is limited and Egan has been away on maternity leave. Those factors provided another opportunity for Sally to confide in Chloe.

Adam told Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), as he has other people, that Sally is the woman he loves. He has also felt that she never got over him after he coldly dumped her.

Ava Hope’s miscarriage was devastating. But both of her parents reinforced their bond in the weeks that followed.

The recent kiss Adam offered to Sally was not rejected, which reflected her instinct and again proved that her love for him endures. But her angst is a project that she fears what a sequel romance with Adam would lead to on Y&R.
