Y&R Spoilers: Adam Faces Huge Change – Billy Stuck In The Past

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) surprising interaction with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) could mean he is maturing. That would seem counter-intuitive, but Adam may give his long-time nemesis a chance because of what Billy did and is doing for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).

Adam is currently dealing with a different issue that might not be a major problem when all is said and done. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wants his son back in the company fold. He is colluding with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to make that happen.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Delia Abbott Always In Mind

Someone will never forget that another person was involved in the death of his child. Billy did try and forgive Adam years ago. But after a while, Thompson’s character could not bring himself to hold to that narrative.

Adam thinks he accidentally hit and killed the daughter Billy had with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson). Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) may or may not have been run over by Adam’s fabled black sports utility vehicle.

Adam is responsible for Delia’s death, unless that storyline is revisited and changed. He earned distrust when initially not reporting what happened when he realized what happened after the fact.

Y&R Spoilers – No Do-Over, Just A New Chance

Billy’s rescue of Chelsea was incredible. There is no telling what tragedy might have occurred if he had not correctly guessed where Chelsea ran to after leaving the Glam Club.

What happened, or anything that ever might, will not bring Delia back. Chelsea wants Billy to know that she not only saved her but that his actions reinforce he was not the reason why Delia died on that night so long ago.

Adam is thankful Billy helped Connor’s mother. Grossman’s character cares for Chelsea. Egan’s character reinforced that feeling while she and Adam talked about her developing friendship with Billy.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chelsea Lawson Carefully Rebuilding

Chelsea understands Adam is being protective of her in these months following her latest mental health scare. Billy realizes Adam’s instincts are not fully related to the grievances they had with each other.

Billy appears to be a romantic option for Chelsea. He either sees her as the same or soon will. Meanwhile, Adam might be willing to accept Chelsea’s choices as his maturation process continues on Y&R.
