Adam’s professional efforts were laudable, but Sally’s tenure still proved to be short-lived, as Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) wanted her out as did Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). But his strategy of cutting Sally off resonates to this day.

Nick was not with Sally when she and Adam were briefly together. That came during a moment in the storyline when Adam convinced Sally that he wanted to say goodbye.

Yet, as Adam told Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), he knows, not just believes, that Sally does not love Nick. Whatever her fondness for his brother, Adam occupies the largest space in Sally’s heart on Y&R.
