Y&R Spoilers: Adam Confirms Love For Sally Persists

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) knew in his heart that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) was not the right man for Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

Adam predicted that the relationship, which felt like a clear rebound, would not last. Sally was surprised when Nick said he could not be with her any longer. That happened after she told him about Adam kissing her.

Nick’s connection with his brother has often not been good. But they have gotten along better in the last year or so. However, Adam’s decision to ask Sally to dinner while Nick was out of town on business sparked the soapy storm.

Sally was involved with a lot of drama when she lived in Los Angeles, California. The last man she believed she loved, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks), told her to leave him alone or to leave LA.

Hope’s character opted to move to Genoa City, Wisconsin, after recognizing that her feelings for Wyatt were not healthy. He dropped her twice while falling back in love with Flo Logan (Katrina Bowden).

Finally breaking from the past was something Sally was able to achieve by moving to GC. It took some time, but she finally gained a relationship with someone who seemed to be a mature match. But Nick’s decision probably ends that expectation.

Adam reverted to his self-destructive pattern in recent months. But he pulled himself out of the doldrums in recent weeks and has seemed serious about redemption.

The restraint Adam exhibited regarding Sally and Nick’s pairing was unusual but also explainable. He believed they were destined to fail and that has happened.

The intense emotions Sally is projecting are a combination of disappointment in losing Nick and an unwanted realization that Adam remains her destiny on Y&R.
