The Great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) may have to face the fact that his oldest child, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), and his youngest child, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), may never get along. In fact, they don’t seem to care if the other lives or dies. Sure, Adam may be free of Jabot because he just up and quit, and sure, Victor wants to gift him Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) company, but Victoria doesn’t like it one bit.

Adam knows exactly how his sister feels and he doesn’t want to deal with her anymore, so he is ready to turn the tables and plots against Victoria. Will Victor catch on that he might have to give up on family harmony, especially in the business world?

While Victor now knows that it was Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) who set up Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) just to get rid of him, he is happy that there is a reason to get this nuisance out of his hair. Or at least he thought he was out of his hair.

Jeremy is back now and ready to cause more trouble for Victor, so he puts the man on notice. Will Jeremy just laugh in his face considering that he has no respect for Genoa City’s most ruthless mogul?

Speaking of Jeremy, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) now knows he is back in town and is not at all happy about it. Someone who will be even less happy is Jack. He truly believes that he and Diane got rid of Jeremy for good, but they should have known it was never going to be that easy.

Jack learns that the hard way when Phyllis informs him she just saw Jeremy at Society and he is gunning for him and Diane. Is Jack losing his manipulative touch or was he just manipulated?
