The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) loved working with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) at Newman Media. But he made a later acknowledged bad mistake when trying to protect her job.

Adam’s decision to abandon his job as Newman Media’s Chief Executive Officer and tell Sally that he never loved her left scars. She saw a different side of Adam that was very unflattering.

He later attempted to reunite with her, but she dismissed it, choosing instead to be with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

It is easy to look back and decide that Adam and Sally would have had a happy life if he never left the CEO’s spot. He thought doing so would help Sally to stay at the company.

But Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) never trusted Sally. They called the shots. So, Adam’s belief was naive and misguided.

Telling Sally that he did not love her was cruel. He was wallowing in self-pity during that point in the plot and felt she would be better off without him in her life. Well, Adam got what he wanted until a paternity test was needed.

Sally wanted to forget Adam. She loved him but realized his irrational behavior and pattern of seeking family drama was not good for her future.

Nick stood as the solid alternative to his younger brother. Sally was not swept away by Morrow’s character. But she found him to be sweet, and his realization about her proved telling,

As viewers recall, Nick did not trust Sally. That was mostly due to her connection with Adam. Nick’s turnaround and appreciation for Sally were something that touched her deeply.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Why Would McCall Unlimited Be Different?

Adam wants to put the two-piece band back together. But the same hierarchy is in place at McCall Unlimited as was true at Newman Media.

Victor bought Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) company as a make-work project for Adam. The same scenario was true when the Moustache created Newman Media before he sold it to Newman Enterprises and Victoria folded it into the company and got rid of Sally.

Sally needs less stress, not more. The daughter she and Adam are expecting is due this summer.

But this is daytime. So, maybe Sally accepts Adam’s offer to work for him, unless Victor blocks it on Y&R.
