Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will push the button on wedding plans in the days ahead.
Abby Abbott (Melissa Ordway) has never been a fan of her mom hooking back up with her ex; however, she’s about to change her attitude on this.
Actress Melissa Ordway sat down with Soap Opera Digest (SOD) to break down a pivotal scene for this storyline, coming the week of July 24th.
Y&R spoilers for the week of July 24th reveal that Abby will offer up the Chancellor Estate for the Tucker/Abbott nuptials.
Tucker and Ash will visit Abby and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) at their new residency, the Chancellor mansion, and mom and daughter will have a private chat. This is where Abby will straight up asks Ashley how her romance with Tucker is going.
Melissa tells SOD that Abby just wants her mom to be happy. As Tucker has screwed up so many times in the past, she’s obviously skeptical about his commitment this time around.
She goes on to note that Abby continues to watch Tucker with her mom, but she doesn’t know what to think of it all.
With that being said, Y&R spoilers show Ash will assure her daughter that not only is she in love with Tucker and things are going well, but the two are also moving forward with wedding plans.
After the mother-daughter talk, the two couples will celebrate Ashley’s wedding news with some champagne. Abby presents the offer that she and Devon would love if their parents got married at the Chancellor Estate.
Ordway tells SOD that Abby will feel a little bit more at ease knowing that she will help oversee wedding plans and have a little control over things, so she can keep an eye on McCall.
However, Melissa also states that Abby will have one condition with her wedding offer, but she’s not sure if her mom will like it.
