Y&R Spoilers: A Re-ignited Rivalry, Victoria Newman Vs. Ashley Abbott

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) should move to the side, as a renewed rivalry could be on the horizon between Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).

The former stepdaughter and stepmother duo may be headed towards a major clash in Genoa City, very soon.

Y&R spoilers for the week of August 21st state that Vic will grill Ash. From the sounds of it, she’ll give her the ‘third degree’ about something.

Sounds like she’ll be looking for more information about Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and the scandal that happened many moons ago while he was running McCall Limited.

Perhaps this more has to do with Audra Charles (Zulekya Silver) and just how close she and Tucker were while they worked together, or possibly how much Ms. Newman can trust Audra.

Still, it looks like this week’s encounter could unleash something between the two ladies. In their younger years, they didn’t see eye to eye; however, this often revolved around Newman Enterprises and Ms. Abbott’s relationship with Vic’s dad, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

The plot will thicken come the week of August 28th, when Y&R spoilers indicate that Vicky will work to get under Ashley’s skin.

Will Ms. Newman trigger Ms. Abbott by pointing out ‘the bond’ Tucker and Audra share? What’s in it for her, to do so?

Is she worried that Ashley and Tucker’s new company could become a threat to Newman Enterprises? Is she looking to dismantle it all before it launches?

These women have a ton of history together, but now that The Moustache is (somewhat) out of the equation, they’ve learned to co-exist in the land of Genoa City.

With Vic seemingly poking the bear, she may end up regretting her actions once Ashley strikes back.
