The Young And The Restless Spoilers – 200 Years Of Genoa City Action

As Y&R celebrates 50 years on the air, the GC Athletic Club is the place to be where your favorites from past and present gather to celebrate Genoa City’s 200 years in existence. This sleepy little midwest town that is home to multi-million dollar corporations and some of the trendiest hotels and eateries was founded two centuries ago and who better to plan a big party than Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland)?

We don’t get the Brooks and the Foster families, but we do have the Newmans and the Abbotts there to represent different generations. Your favorite characters dress up in their finest and make their grand entrances, even with all the trauma going on in their lives. Phyllis Summer (Michelle Stafford) is still going off the deep end, and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) are still at war, but none of that will matter for this one night — at least that is what we hope.

Y&R Spoilers – Who Else Will We See?

Favorite current characters are not the only ones who will be at the party. Expect comebacks from Leanna Love (Barbara Crampton), the author who wrote The Great Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) memoir Ruthless, as well as more moments with Mamie Johnson (Veronica Redd), the Abbott housekeeper who practically raised John Abbott’s (Jerry Douglas) kids.

Nina Webster will also make a return to GC after we saw her off and on during Abby Newman’s (Melissa Ordway) surrogacy story. How will she feel about the way things turned out between Abby and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd)? Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) also makes his way back to Genoa City once again after a brief visit earlier this year. Will he stick around this time and spend more time with Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell)? Time will tell.

Finally, Gina Roma (Patty Weaver), Danny’s big sister and former nightclub owner also returns to GC for this big occasion. Stay tuned to The Young and the Restless weekdays to see how these stories play out.
