The retired district attorney will tell Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that he received a call from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). It seems that Jack is having trouble finding a lawyer to defend Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

Jack’s first attempt will be to turn to Christine. Jack calls in a favor but is shot down. Christine can’t give Jack any information about the case. That leads Jack to place a call to Michael. Nikki is horrified at the thought of Michael defending the woman who killed one of his best friends.

However, Michael has always had a soft spot for Diane, even at the beginning of the resurrection storyline. So, it sounds like Michael agrees to take Diane’s case. The only problem is that Michael does something controversial. By the end of the week, Michael will be forced to defend himself to Christine.

During the week of April 17, fans can expect Mariah and Tessa to continue bonding with their new daughter. Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will ask Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) for a favor.
