Daniel didn’t tell Jack, Kyle and Michael about Summer knowing about Phyllis’ fake death. So, Summer is in the clear… for the moment.

However, it is teased that Summer covers for Phyllis. So, maybe Daniel is pushed to expose Summer. If Summer is interrogated about Phyllis being alive, she could claim Daniel is crazy with grief. Summer will do anything to protect her mother. This could include destroying her marriage and risking going to prison.
