Y&R spoilers for the week of October 2 reveal that one must-see moment is the introduction of a new character.

The character is named Claire Grace and will be interviewed for an assistant position at Newman Media. Claire meets with Nikki and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) in the weekly preview clip.

Soap Opera Digest magazine featured an interview with Erin. While the actress couldn’t give away any major spoilers, Erin did say that Claire seems very well put together. It seems that Nikki will become fond of Claire as well.

Y&R Spoilers – Saving Phyllis Summers

During the week of October 2, another must-see moment centers on Phyllis. Even though Phyllis got extremely lucky in her sentence, she is still going down the wrong path. Phyllis wants forgiveness right away. However, proving herself will take time.

While Phyllis pouts over having to face consequences, she also has a financial problem. Phyllis must pay the insurance company back $2 million. That led to Phyllis partnering with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).

It is teased that Lauren will have some words of wisdom for Phyllis. Perhaps Phyllis will regret her actions and try to do damage control.

The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of October 2 reveal that another must-see moment centers on Jill and Mamie’s war.

Mamie has returned to Genoa City and is Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) mysterious third-party investor for Chancellor-Winters.
