Both are returning to Genoa City, Wisconsin later this month. There’s never a dull moment when this bona fide megastar celebrity is in the Midwest hamlet so there is sure to be lots of drama and fun times ahead.

Michael Damian last appeared on the soap in April. This was during the infamous Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) plotline in which the cagey gal staged her own death then killed a man.

Believe it or not, Red is walking free these days, with only a slap on the wrist for all the trouble she caused.

Because of Phyllis’ shenanigans, her kids’ lives suffered immensely. Her daughter Summer Abbott (Allison Lanier) is getting a divorce from Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) due to her role in Phyllis’ underhanded scheme.

Her son Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) went through his own turmoil and having his dad back in town will no doubt lift his spirits.

When Danny Romalotti returns, this time it will be for a longer period of time and this is good news for fans.

What keeps him in town? There is no immediate word on his activities, but he will want to reconnect with Daniel and maybe have a word or three with his ex, Phyllis.

Show spoilers reveal that Red is ready to meddle in her son’s love life, even though she has sworn off underhanded tactics.

If Danny gets wind of this he may get involved and try to steer Phyllis onto the higher path.
