Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) has retained her services as she goes against her brother Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). The sibs are engaged in all out warfare as they fight over Chancellor-Winters. At one time everything at C-W was copacetic, but that was before Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) stirred the pot.

And that was before Devon got a burr in his saddle about wanting to split the company and take his ball and go home. Lily and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) have made it clear they will fight Devon with all their might, and Lily hiring Amanda to represent her in court blew Devon’s mind.

Last week Devon confronted Lily when he found out his sister hired the ex he cheated on to represent her interests. He accused her of going to the gutter by hiring a woman who hates his guts, which if true, he has only himself to blame.

Amanda debuted on the CBS soap in 2019. But that was not the first appearance for Morgan, who for years played Amanda’s twin, Hilary Curtis, Devon’s late wife. Over time the resemblance was too much to ignore and lo and behold, the secret soapy twin plot unfolded.

With Devon’s support Amanda tracked down her bio mom Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey), and found a -sister named Imani (Leigh-Ann Rose).

In 2022 Morgan won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, and she made history as the first African American woman to do so.
