On Friday, July 14, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) returns to the canvas. She is the ex of Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) who has been going through some turmoil thanks to his mother Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Fans last saw Heather in February when she went back to Portugal.

Bloom was previously in the role of Heather from 2007 to 2010. There is no word yet on what brings Heather back to town. She previously made it clear to Daniel that she was through with him and had moved on with another man. They share a child, Lucy, but there is no indication that she accompanies her mom.

As we mentioned earlier Heather may be back to comfort Daniel as he continues to be caught up in the mess made by his mom when she pretended to be dead. That worked out so well that she is now facing a possible murder/manslaughter charge due to her deception.

For now Red is hiding out until her loved ones can figure out a way to bring her home safely and Scot free of any consequences. Because Red likes making messes, cleaning them up not so much.

But it could be a mess that ends up with her showing her face again. Last week Daniel told her that her daughter Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) had been kicked out of the house by her husband Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

The rupture was directly due to Summer and Red colluding against him and now there is the piper to pay. Will Phyllis do the right thing and reappear to make restitution?
