Yellowstone takes over Stagecoach Country Music Festival
For those not in the know, Yellowstone is a hit modern Western drama series on Paramount Network. The show tells the story of the Dutton family and their battle to keep their ranch. Since it first debuted, a number of Dutton origin stories have been aired, including 1883 and 1923.
Meanwhile, Yellowstone is firmly involved in the country music festival, with several cast members being country music stars. These include Luke Grimes, Ryan Bingham, Lainey Wilson and more. Moreover, the musical cast members were seen on the stage on the last day at the Empire Polo Club in Indio.
Which cast members appeared at the festival?
Kayce Dutton star, Luke Grimes, took to the Mane Stage at Stagecoach 2023. Moreover, a recent addition to Yellowstone, Lainey Wilson, who plays Abby, was on the same stage during the early afternoon. Wilson was introduced on stage by iconic Yellowstone creator, Taylor Sheridan. Meanwhile, a few hours before, Lainey and Sheridan joined the Food Network’s Guy Fieri in a cooking (and eating) demo.
Sheridan is a partial owner of the Four Sixes Ranch in Texas and told Fieri his goal with Yellowstone is to bring light to the ranching way of life. Moreover, Taylor took over demo duties with several cuts of steak with used coffee grounds for preparation, while Lainey demonstrated. While this was going on, Kyle Red Silverstein, who plays young Rip Wheeler was in Fieri’s VIP area.
Other Yellowstone cast members take to the stage
Meanwhile, Ryan Bingham, who plays Walker, an itinerant ranch hand on the hit drama series, performed in the later afternoon on the Palomino Stage. Of interest to note, Ryan has recently announced his relationship with another Yellowstone cast member, Hassie Harrison, who plays Laramie.
As noted by The Press-Enterprise, another Yellowstone-related musician who was featured on the Palomino Stage was Tyler Childers, who sang Nose to the Grindstone. In fact, Tyler became popular due to his music playing on the series.
Yellowstone Dutton Ranch souvenir tent
Right next to the Palomino Stage, Stagecoach set up a tent selling Yellowstone-related souvenirs, including T-shirts and a place where fans could order Four Sixes steak. Meanwhile, they also set up a replica stone fireplace from the show as a photo station. Moreover, there was a branding station where souvenirs could be personalized with leatherworking punches.
