While fans impatiently wait for news about whether Kevin Costner is leaving Yellowstone, one cast member makes an ominous statement.

Currently, fans are getting impatient, as headlines swirl around Kevin Costner’s rumored exit from Yellowstone. Already, part 2 of season 5, which was supposed to air in the summer of 2023, is now delayed indefinitely. Now, one of the stars of the hit modern Western series has made a cryptic statement that “Nothing is forever.”

Rumors continue of Kevin Costner leaving Yellowstone

While Paramount Network assures fans that Kevin Costner is going nowhere, there are still many rumors swirling around the subject. What with the delays over part 2 of season 5, Yellowstone fans are truly frustrated. Meanwhile, many fans bought tickets for PaleyFest LA in early April to see Kevin Costner, Taylor Sheridan and other lead stars from the series. However, they were a no-show at the event, upsetting pretty much everyone.

To add to the rumors, one Yellowstone cast member just added fuel to the flames over Kevin Costner potentially leaving. Dawn Olivieri, who plays Claire Dutton in the prequel 1883 alongside Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, recently spoke to the Daily Mail about the rumors. While doing so, she gave an ominous statement, saying:

Sometimes we have to own the fact that nothing is forever and impermanence is the single thing we can count on, and that life is like that.

Needless to say, fans who know about Olivieri’s statement are not impressed.

What is happening with the modern Western series?

Recent reports have cited a conflict between Kevin Costner and Yellowstone boss, Taylor Sheridan as causing rumors of the actor’s departure. However, in February, a Paramount spokesperson told The Post:

We have no news to report. Kevin Costner is a big part of Yellowstone, and we hope that’s the case for a long time to come.

Meanwhile, Olivieri’s statement comes at a time when most of the lead Yellowstone stars dropped out of the PaleyFest LA event. In fact, the media was only informed of their absence less than an hour before the red carpet.

Meanwhile, filming hasn’t even started on part 2 of Yellowstone season 5. In fact, cast member Wendy Moniz, who did appear at PaleyFest, said they haven’t yet started filming, adding, “We know he is writing and we’re looking forward to getting back.”

However, better news relates to a Yellowstone spinoff starring the great Matthew McConaughey, which has been confirmed by the actor. However, as yet, no title has been released, but it will join other series in the franchise, including 1883, 1923 and 6666.

For now, fans will be waiting impatiently for more positive news about Yellowstone, its cast and the second part of season 5.
