The iconic actor, who plays John Dutton on the modern Western series, has revealed what he would have told his younger self if he could. This comes amid rumors of Costner leaving Yellowstone amid the filming of part 2 of season 5.

On Wednesday, Kevin Costner posted a throwback, black-and-white image of himself and revealed what advice he would give to his younger self if he could. Costner, 68, captioned the image, writing:

I think often about what I’d go back and say to this guy. Mostly, I’d want to tell him to get ready for one hell of a ride.

Meanwhile, Kevin also added, “What would you tell your younger self if given the chance?”

Fans were quick to respond to Costner’s good-looking younger self, with one lady writing, “Good Lord, you expect people to think after posting this?!?” We definitely agree! Meanwhile, another fan wrote, “I’d say find Kevin Costner and marry him and have lots of babies! ❤”

On rumors Costner is leaving the show

Other fans were more concerned about the rumors that the Bodyguard star is leaving Yellowstone. One commented, writing, “Please stay on Yellowstone. You are thee best!!” Another quipped, “To stay on Yellowstone.”

As mentioned, this Instagram post comes as rumors swirl that Costner is leaving the hit series. However, the actor himself is ignoring the rumors, while his potential exit from Yellowstone has not been confirmed.

So far, all Paramount has to say about the rumors is a comment from a spokesperson to Fox News digital, “We have no news to report.” Moreover, the spokesperson added, “Kevin Costner is a big part of ‘Yellowstone,’ and we hope that’s the case for a long time to come.”

Meanwhile, Costner, Taylor Sheridan and lead actors from the show let down fans at the recent PaleyFest by not turning up. Instead, Keith Cox, President of Scripted at MTV Entertainment Studios was there. While initially, Paramount had announced the part 2 of season 5 of Yellowstone would premiere in the summer of 2023. However, since then, it has started to look like it won’t happen, especially as its stars have yet to start filming those episodes of the show.
