Counting On alums Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth took the kids, Gideon, (5) and Evelyn to California to visit her sister, Jinger Vuolo. In a series of videos, she shared that they all enjoyed a wonderful time. Well, some TLC fans think that they might be considering a move there. How do fans feel about the idea? Soon after the launch of Jinger Vuolo’s new book, Becoming Free Indeed, Joy and her husband loaded up the kids, and off they flew on a direct flight to Los Angeles. Gideon seemed very excited and he was ready to go before his mom. There, they enjoyed a fun-filled time with their cousins. Felicity gave Evelyn and Gideon some toys to play with. Enjoying the warmer weather, the kids spent time at a park and more fun followed.

Counting On fans were happy to see that Joy-Anna supports her sister because her book seems a bit controversial. Not everyone in the family supports the idea of dissing the strict fundamentalist Christian childhood that she experienced. Photos arrived on Instagram as well as the videos on her YouTube and Joy-Anna seemed happy and relaxed. But, is that enough for her to consider a move to California?

This weekend, another video arrived on YouTube. The previous one revealed that Joy prepared a meal to thank Jinger and Jeremy for their kind hospitality. Plus, it showed them enjoying the view from Jinger’s new home. Joy said that Jeremy promised to fire up the pizza oven. Well, the second video revealed that and showed more footage of the kids. Additionally, Austin and Jeremy took the kids for a bit so the girls could go shopping.

As the vacation neared its end, the Counting On alums seemed a bit down. Sitting with Austin in the park, he seemed to love the idea of the place. After all, it hardly ever seems to get as cold as Arkansas. The night before they left, they tucked the kids into bed and then they got up in the wee hours to catch a flight. When Gideon heard the news, he seemed shattered and sad and really didn’t want to get on the plane home.

Counting On fans saw that Joy-Anna titled her video, Should We Move to LA?! Plenty of folks thought that they should. One of them said in the comments on YouTube, “Yes move here yay!!! California will allow you to live an out door life that you will never take for granted once you experience it!! Kids will flourish ?♥️?? (sic).”

It’s always one thing to catch up with family and enjoy a vacation. However, it’s another thing to uproot the family and move. Bear in mind, Austin has a steady income working in construction and flipping houses. So, the probability of an actual move seems a bit unrealistic.
