General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Nina being thrown under the bus by the writers so that Carly may end up smelling like a rose.
General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Spencer Committed A Crime
Committing crimes is a thing on General Hospital and we all know that some people never have to pay for their crimes.
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has either committed crimes or been an accessory to one for decades due to her many marriages to mobster Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and we are used to that.
However, the one she may go down for is insider trading, thanks to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) acting impulsively and tipping off the SEC to Carly and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) machinations after Carly laid one more emotional blow to Nina, as she is apt to do.
It would have been fine if Carly never paid for this stupid crime because it’s not like she ever paid for any of the other ones, including kidnapping Martin Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) and Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) mother from a nursing home. No wonder Martin was happy to do Nina’s bidding for her.
However, we all know that this insider trading story only exists to make Nina look like the bad guy when Carly pummels her over and over again.
GH Spoilers – The Truth? Carly Started It
Let us never forget that it was Carly who decided that Nina didn’t get to know that Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) was her daughter just because she didn’t want Nina to dig into Nelle’s death.
Yes, Carly hesitated on the top of that cliff Nelle fell from, but she didn’t tell the authorities that. Carly’s lies are what sent Nina to Nixon Falls and Carly’s big mouth is what kept Nina from telling Carly that Sonny Corinthos was alive when she found him.
She called Carly immediately, but Carly just bad-mouthed her and wouldn’t let her speak. So, Nina made her Nixon Falls mistake.
Now, she made a mistake by turning Carly in. But, it is only a mistake because GH keeps insisting Carly is a heroine and the real crime is turning someone in for committing one.
Carly is not a heroine. Nina is not a heroine. They are flawed characters who do foolish and impulsive things but only one of them is declared the villain and keeps losing and the other is hailed as a saint despite how mean she is to anyone who is not on her side.
Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see Liam whine some more.
