Who Is Adam Newman’s Mom On The Young And The Restless

The Young and the Restless spoilers hint a new storyline on the CBS soap may have something to do with Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) mom.  Could Aunt Jordan be linked to Adam’s mom?  Keep reading for new Y&R spoilers and all the rumors and details.

If you are a longtime viewer then you know some of Adam Newman’s history on The Young and the Restless.  He was born as a result of an affair Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) had and was born and raised in Kansas with his mother and her family.  Adam Newman didn’t arrive in Genoa City and meet the Newmans until he was an adult.

So, who is Adam Newman’s mother and why does it matter now?

A popular theory amongst The Young and the Restless fans is that Aunt Jordan may be related to Adam Newman’s mom, or actually be her.

Adam Newman was born Victor Newman Jr. and was the son of Hope Adams.  Victor met Hope in the early 90’s on The Young and the Restless, she was a blind farmer living in Kansas and somehow she hit it off with the moustache, despite them having literally nothing in common.

Victor was believed dead, so he spent a while on the farm with Hope and living a quiet and simple life.

Eventually Victor returned to Genoa City, with his blind girlfriend in tow, and her introductions didn’t go well.

Obviously Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and ran Hope Adams out of Genoa City.  Victor was in love though so he went back to Kansas and married her.

But, she was miserable and returned to Kansas for good.  Hope married another man and raised Adam Newman with him until she died in 2008.  The character was killed off with pancreatic cancer and revealed to Adam that Victor was his dad on her death bed.

We get why Hope Adams would have beef with the Newman Family.  And, that would explain why Adam Newman doesn’t appear to get poisoned by her.

Victor Newman, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) aren’t so lucky.  The problem with that theory is Hope loved Victor, why would she want to kill him now?
