What Is Prince Harry’s Prestigious New Role All About?

Prince Harry definitely has a new reason to smile, especially with the news that he has been promoted to a prestigious new role.

According to a recent report, Harry has been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors for African Parks Network, South Africa.

It is no doubt a job that he’ll be proud to receive, especially since he has a passion for conservation.

Harry originally joined the non-profit organization in 2016, and since then, he’s continued to diligently carry out his duties.

Prince Harry Promoted To New Role In Non-profit Organization He Joined In 2016

Per a report by People Magazine, the Duke of Sussex has moved up in the world of conservation, with the announcement that he is now a member of the Board of Directors.

Prince becoming the president of the non-profit in 2017, Harry has overseen several conservation projects across Africa. During his tenure as president, he launched several new programs.

His biography reads, “Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex is a humanitarian, military veteran, mental wellness advocate, and environmentalist. The duke has dedicated his life’s work to advancing causes that he is passionate about, and that bring about permanent change for people and places.”

The bio continues: “For over two decades, he has taken a deep personal interest in frontline conservation projects across Africa that work to protect the region’s natural resources and wildlife, for the benefit of local communities.”

The updated bio further shed light on his new role: “In 2023, after serving six years as President, he was elevated to an officially appointed member of the Board of Directors, the governing body of the organisation.”

It Also Touched On Harry’s Devotion To His Family, Before Closing Off By Referencing His Wife And Two Kids.

One of the projects he and his wife Meghan Markle engaged in dealt with the conservation of elephants.

The project saw them partner with The Ellen Fund and Elephant without Borders to bring awareness to protecting what they called “one of the world’s most beloved animals.”
