What happened to Nelle Benson on General Hospital?

General Hospital Spoilers – Nelle Benson Is Wiley Corinthos’ Mother

General Hospital Spoilers reveal that Nelle is Wiley Corinthos’ (Viron Weaver) mother. Nelle came to Port Charles when Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) was trying to find Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) kidney donor when the truth came out about Jake Webber (Hudson West). However, Nelle was trouble from the start.

Nelle was the adopted daughter of Carly’s adoptive father. Nelle knew that her father sold her kidney but she blamed her adoptive sister, Carly.

Nelle made a point to get into a relationship with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and got pregnant with his baby. After trying to have Michael killed, Nelle gave their baby away and allowed Michael to believe he had died.

GH Spoilers – Nelle Benson Was Nina Reeves’s Daughter

It was later revealed that Nelle was Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) daughter. However, Nina delivered twins while in a coma. Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) was the other.

Nelle was sent to Florida and Willow was given to Harmony Miller (ex-Inga Cadrenal). The truth about Nelle was not revealed until after she was declared dead.

Nelle kidnapped Wiley and took him to Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) cabin in the mountains. Michael found her and rescued Wiley but Nelle ran off and Carly ended up chasing her.

Carly and Nelle fought and Nelle got away again only to fall and barely catch herself before going over the cliff. Carly tried to save Nelle but she slipped out of her hands and fell.

General Hospital Spoilers – Harrison Chase Identified The Body

Harris Chase (Josh Swickard) was a cop in Florida when Nelle’s fiancé there was killed by Nelle’s hand. However, Chase fell for Nelle and almost lost his job because of her.

Chase agreed to knock Michael off for Nelle but it was all a set up to catch her in her lies. However, Nelle caused an accident and managed to get away.

After Nelle fell off the cliff a body was later found and Chase identified the body as Nelle. Nelle’s death was an accident but Nina didn’t want to believe that and Carly never told her the truth immediately.

Fans have often wondered if Chase was mistaken and that Nelle will return sometime. Will Nelle show up in the future or is her character done? Should Nelle stay away instead?
