Say what you will about a person like Samantha Markle, but you can’t say that she didn’t warn the world about her half-sister, Meghan Markle. For the last several years Samantha has been one of the Duchess of Sussex’s biggest and if not most vocal critics.

And while a lot of people seemed to fall in love with the American duchess back when she first began dating Prince Harry back in 2016, Samantha claimed that Meghan’s fairytale story is anything but that. Could it be that Samantha was right about her sister all along? Here’s what you need to know.

Was Samantha Markle Right About Meghan Markle This Entire Time?

When Samantha started attacking Meghan in both her interviews and on social media, a lot of people simply assumed that she was jealous of her sister. After all, Meghan Markle was living the royal life. But at the same time, she cut off her entire family while she was trying to navigate her new life in the spotlight. Meghan was known for her television work, but she was nowhere as famous as she became the moment she fell in love and began dating Prince Harry.

Samantha went on the record to say that Meghan is a manipulative and maybe even cold-hearted person who cut the cord on her relationship with a lot of people in her family, including her own father, Thomas Markle. Samantha even predicted that Harry and Meghan’s marriage wouldn’t last too long and that sooner or later the world would get to see the Duchess of Sussex’s ‘real’ face behind her public persona. In the last several weeks alone there have been plenty of reports about how Meghan wants to distance herself from Harry in order to save their Sussex brand and how she might even be thinking about divorcing the royal, too.

The Sussexes have been dealing with a lot of bad press lately, including getting fired from Spotify. Samantha predicted that Meghan would try to throw Harry under the bus the moment things started to go bad and it seems like she might be doing that right now.

Samantha Knew The Truth All Along

While no one’s really been that quick to give Samantha credit for speaking her version of the truth, there’s a chance that she might be telling everyone ‘I told you so’ behind closed doors as the Sussex’s ship continues to sink. Then again, if Harry and Meghan do end up becoming irrelevant, so will Samantha Markle. No one will want to hear her commentary about the Sussexes when there’s nothing left to say about them.
