Where Are Todd & Julie Chrisley Serving Their Combined 19-Year Sentence?
Earlier this year, Todd and Julie Chrisley surrendered to the Bureau of Prisons custody and entered prison. They’re serving a combined 19-year sentence for multiple fraud convictions.
The reality TV couple has to serve their sentence in two different states. The Federal Government didn’t want them to conspire and communicate in the same prison.
Todd is serving a 12-year sentence at the Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Florida. Julie went to the Federal Medical Center (FMC), which is located in Lexington, Kentucky, where she will serve her seven-year sentence.
The couple’s daughter, Savannah Chrisley, will care for their 16-year-old son Grayson and their nine-year-old adopted daughter Chloe.
Fans want to know more about the prison where Todd and Julie Chrisley are staying. They are said to be in the mix with other famous criminals. However, some fans are concerned about the safety of the prisons. The couple wouldn’t want to get to know some of the dangerous criminals that could turn on them.
How Todd Chrisley Got Lucky
One fan noted that Todd Chrisley is lucky with his prison conditions. They took to Reddit to note that he could’ve served his 12-year sentence at Thompson. That’s the place that holds some of the most violent criminals. There is one federal prison that’s located in Illinois.
The incarcerated criminals abuse the prison guards so badly, that they end up dying. Todd lucked out by not being sent to that state prison. The conditions were so bad that they had to shut the prison down and send the prisoners elsewhere. The original poster included a link to the NPR article.
However, one fan in the thread noted that Thompson has a different prison environment than the Chrisleys are in. There are different state prisons with different levels of security.
Thompson was a high-security prison. The Chrisleys wouldn’t have been sent there in the first place since they’re not dangerous criminals.
